I might need to re-mortgage and as I only work part-time my salary wont give me a big enough mortgage, do you think they will take into account the other income i receive from child maintance and tax credits etc??

Yes they will. You are not required to have it included, but you are able to.

It isn%26#039;t classed as income so is not taxable, and cannot be factored into a mortgage application

They are not allowed to specifically ask for or use alimony, child support or seperate maintanence UNLESS you offer it.

I use to work at a Mortgage Company. Yes, they can use your Child Support as income if you can prove you have been and will be getting it for a specified amount of time (and that depends on the bank). You can offer this information on your application, which to my knowledge, does and can ask for that info. Hope that helps! Thanks!

Also, also ask your Lender! :) They should be MORE than willing to help, and if they aren%26#039;t, LOOK SOMEWHERE ELSE!!! :)
